UnitedHealthcare will offer another third-party certification program to earn credit for the UnitedHealthcare Medicare Basics Assessment with a passing score from the National Association of Benefits and Insurance Professionals (NABIP).

What you need to know

• Agents choosing to pursue the NABIP path can access our custom link, beginning June 20, you must access by logging in through Jarvis to get to Learning Lab. Using the NABIP path in Learning Lab will bring you to a custom link that will connect you to the NABIP site that allows you to purchase your training, complete the training, and transmit your results back to Learning Lab for $100.
  
  
• Those that certify with NABIP will need to complete additional Base Level assessments (2025 Ethics & Compliance and 2025 AARP) to become certified to sell UnitedHealthcare Medicare Advantage (non-SNP), Prescription Drug and Medicare Supplement plans.
  
  
• Agents who plan to conduct marketing/sales events must complete the Events Basics module. No assessment is required for 2025.  
  
  

• You will have 6 attempts to complete the NABIP certification with a passing score of 85% or higher.
